I don't really pay much attention to other players titles, unless I actually know them. The only one I've ever stood up and taking notice of was "God walking amongst mere mortals" The mount of time and effort that must have gone into that is insane.
Personally, I'm happy with my Protector titles. I know it's very easy to be "carried" through those ones. But me and two of my friends put a lot of effort into getting them by ourselves, and I'm very proud of that. That's all I care about.

Champion Title is the only real skillfull title, all PvE Titles are all easy, only difference between some of them is the time required(Vanquisher) or money(Sweet Tooth). Hero title doesnt really require much skill, can be farmed or even bought. Commander is easy and Gladiator probably the seconde most skillful title

IMO there are no real prestigious titles.
Yes some show skill.
Sunspear and Lightbringer don't show skill just put enough effort in it and you have it maxed in days.
GW:EN Titles not realy master of the north a little but i just a matter of time before maxed.
As for the legendary Cartographer put some time in it and you have it maxed
Legendary Guardian shows some skill to do so but with a competent group and some effort no big deal.
Legendary Skill Hunter if you have enough cash also no big deal.
Legendary Vanquisher you need some skill and allot of patience to do so.
IMO it a Guild do it together Title.
As fore the
Drunkard
Sweet Tooth
Treasure Hunter
Wisdom
Titles
Iff you have time and ingame cash no big deal
Survivor allot of time (like 1000 Byzzr Wingmender runs for a necro or a mesmer
As for the PvP titles you need some skill for it and allot of PvP time to do so.
But i do not respect people more for there maxed titles.
So if you are a protector of cantha or a God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals.
you still be the same lad i play with.

QFT.
champ is starting to get unskillful now, ive been seeing lots of guilds invite nubs to gvg with them as the easiest thing to play, then allow them to farm champ...
glad is kinda farmable but it takes skill in the 4v4 format

The one that impresses me the most is seeing something like Grand Master Treasure Hunter. I mean, it's like, "damn, not only did you spend all that money but you also spent all that time running around to actually OPEN the chests!"

QFT. I share the same opinion when it come's to title's in GW.
I play with the people i like playing with because of who those persons are.

As if guilds with trim have never been brought, or ebayed tigers and people paying gold to get fame seems pvp has more of this than pve.

Heh, that's how I'm doing it. Slap on my wrist for brawling just the once.
I realised how daft I was making use of Ursan Blessing in that Blood Washes Blood quest, especially as a mesmer survivor but hey, I didn't die.
Never using it again, though.
The people who seem to get the most recognition appear to be the last ones who get a max title before favour is gained. So, want to be recognised? Save that last 100xp on Legendary Survivor for the final achievement before favour.

Since no one will ever max Champ, and most likely never max Gladiator, I suppose rank 15 will become the only 'prestigious' title, as the rest can all be bought, and will be cheaper as time goes by (runners, etc). Although, once someone gets rank 15, I imagine people will spam "omg gt a lyf" and such all day.

Gate of Madness is possible with H/H, it's just hard. You can glitch Shiro in the door, and the Lich is weaksauce, so if you can get to them, it's pretty easy.
Dunes of Despair you can H/H SOMEWHAT, you just have to do it twice, and pull the bosses close to the wall so the hench can reach.
Eternal Grove....forget about it haha
Dzagonur Bastion, is pretty easy. I did it with a friend and 6 heroes, but I can see it being possible with H/H. Very possible.

Titles are only important in the eye of the beholder. I personally respect the Luxon/Kurz titles because I play AB alot, and it hopefully shows some level of knowledge about the system there. I also respect the Gladiator title since I do RA/TA, as it shows some level of understanding of 4v4.
Survivor never meant much to me because res shrines are everywhere. I'm not going to hug a cliff and walk to get the cartographer stuff. I don't know 7 other people to go PvP with. I kind of hate the drunk effect on my screen. Candy is just retarded. And I won't waste cash on tickets to go stand in a circle for a weekend.

Well said, Edge.
I personally disrespect sweet tooths, drinkers and treasure hunters with a passion. Too much grind related. Most of the high ranking Kurzick titles are HFF/FFF runners, too. Sigh.
Champion titles are probably to be the most respected. The other titles have become a function of time. And I always believed GW favored skill over time played. I have 26 titles myself, to make any of my chars a god/goddess would require resorting to what the Wiki calls "activity" titles, a nice description for repetitive grind.

It should be treasure hunter + wisdom. Each pick and unid cost some dollars.
